GLOUCESTERSHIRE PARENT CARER FORUM - Peer Support - For Parent Carers of young people with additional needs (with or without a diagnosis). An opportunity to join our supportive, caring and welcoming members to share stories, experiences and knowledge.

FAMILY SUPPORT - devlivered by Young Gloucestershire (ONLINE)

Young Gloucestershire is offering a series of friendly, online workshops to support parents in understanding their children’s mental health. These sessions are designed to provide practical advice, reassurance, and simple strategies to help everyday challenges feel more manageable.

Whether your child is approaching adolescence or already navigating the teenage years, these workshops will help you feel more confident in supporting their wellbeing.

Workshop topics include:

  • Building healthy coping strategies and resilience

  • Understanding the impact of social media on mental health

  • Communicating effectively with teenagers

Upcoming online sessions (10am–12pm):

  • 23 April 2026 – Healthy coping strategies & resilience

  • 21 May 2026 – Social media and mental health

  • 18 June 2026 – Communicating with teens

These sessions are open to parents looking for guidance, support, or simply a space to learn more.
