A Year of Growing Together: Headspace Partners with Stow-on-the-Wold Primary School
Partnership Launch: Friday, 3rd October 2025
We’re thrilled to announce a special year-long partnership with Stow-on-the-Wold Primary School, marking the start of an inspiring journey to nurture children’s mental health and wellbeing across our community.
A Partnership with Heart
Beginning in October, Stow-on-the-Wold Primary School has chosen Headspace as its charity partner for the 2025–26 academic year. This meaningful collaboration will help us expand our reach and continue providing vital emotional wellbeing support for children and young people across the North Cotswolds.
The partnership launches during the school’s traditional Harvest Festival celebration at St Edward’s Church in Stow, where the whole school community will come together to celebrate their values of heart, hand, and mind — values that align perfectly with our mission at Headspace.
“This year, we wanted to focus our efforts on a cause that is close to the hearts of our pupils, families, and staff. Supporting emotional well-being is more important than ever, and Headspace does incredible work right here in our community.”
— Rebecca Scutt, Headteacher, Stow-on-the-Wold Primary School
Why This Matters
Young people today face increasing emotional pressures, and access to mental health support has never been more crucial. Through this partnership, we’ll be able to reach more children and families who need our help — providing counselling sessions, group wellbeing activities, and mentoring that help young minds thrive.
What’s Planned for the Year Ahead
The school has an exciting calendar of fundraising activities planned throughout the year, including sponsored challenges and themed days. Every pound raised will go directly toward funding our mental health services, workshops, and support programmes for local young people.
In addition, Stow-on-the-Wold Primary School is creating a dedicated wellbeing space called “The Den”, demonstrating their commitment to supporting pupils’ emotional health within the school environment. We’ll be sharing updates throughout the year as the school community comes together to make a difference.
A Community Coming Together
This partnership represents more than fundraising — it’s about building awareness, reducing stigma, and showing young people that their mental health truly matters. When schools, charities, and families work together, we create a stronger network of support for every child.
We’re incredibly grateful to Headteacher Rebecca Scutt, the dedicated staff, the proactive school council, and all the families at Stow-on-the-Wold Primary School for choosing to support our work. Together, we’ll make a lasting difference in the lives of local children and teenagers.
Thank You, Stow Primary!
To everyone at Stow-on-the-Wold Primary School — thank you for your commitment to children’s mental health. We can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together this year.
If your school or organisation is interested in partnering with Headspace, we’d love to hear from you.
Together, we can support more young people in our community.
