Thank You for Joining Our Parent Information Evening
Last week, we were delighted to welcome parents and carers from across the North Cotswolds to our Parent Information Evening, where we showcased the full range of mental health and wellbeing services Headspace offers to support young people in our community.
The evening was a valuable opportunity to share how we’re working with local schools, professionals, and volunteers to provide tailored support — including counselling, mentoring, wellbeing sessions, and outdoor learning opportunities.
What Parents Told Us
We were especially grateful for the thoughtful feedback shared on the night. Here’s what we heard:
💬 Our mentoring pilot programme was very well received, with many parents expressing support for its continuation and expansion.
💬 The signposting and support we provide — helping families find the right help at the right time — was described as invaluable.
💬 There is a desperate need for parent education classes in the North Cotswolds, particularly for families supporting children with mental health challenges and special educational needs (SEN).
This feedback is vital in shaping our next steps — and confirms the importance of growing services that respond directly to what families are experiencing.
